ADMISSION TO PRESCHOOL
We accept children from the age of 3 who have mastered potty training. The admission process takes place throughout the year, but new children join the preschool groups from the third week of August to begin the adaptation process and start the new school year together with other preschoolers and students at the DOMDARIS school. Vacancies in the preschool arise when children graduate from preschool or are transferred to an older preschool group because they have grown up. The preschool is attended by children of our school employees, brothers and sisters of existing preschoolers and students, who are given priority in the queue for vacant preschool places. The remaining vacant places are offered to new friends who want to join our great team of preschool children.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
If you would like to register your child for DOMDARIS preschool, you must contact the school principal, Daci, by writing to the email address pirmsskola@domdaris.lv.
TUITION FEES
Entry fee – 400 EUR.
The entrance fee is used to improve and supplement the preschool's material and technical equipment, and to improve the preschool's premises and playground. If, after graduating from preschool, the child continues his studies at DOMDARIS school, the entrance fee does not need to be paid again.
Monthly tuition fee - 540 EUR* – state co-financing** – local government co-financing***.
Tuition fees are fixed. They are not reduced if the child is ill. Tuition fees are applied for 11 months of the year.
Meals – standard and vegetarian portion 3 meals per day 7.15 EUR, portions for allergic children 7.60 EUR per day.
Events up to 5 EUR per month are not coordinated with parents of preschoolers. At the beginning of the school year, major school events are determined, for which each family must make a co-payment of up to 50 EUR regardless of whether the event is attended. The amount is added to the bill for the current month.
Study materials 20 EUR per month.
!!! When enrolling in preschool, the first payment is 400 EUR enrollment fee + deposit payment, which covers the last month's tuition fees at preschool DOMDARIS.
* Tuition fee from November 1, 2025 640 EUR.
**State co-financing is only granted to 5 and 6 year old children.
***Each municipality in which the child is declared applies a different amount of co-financing for different age groups of children. The amount of co-financing by the municipality can be found out at the education department or department of the municipality in which the child is declared.
